Virgins and the jaded strapped to their seats
As pressure fills the spaces
The heavyweight rumbles to position
Lights dim and a nervous silence breaks the hum
Deep in the belly high octane converts to thrust
The monolith surges forward
Shaking nerves out of her long limbs
The beast begins to roar
Headfirst she charges at her age long adversary
Every blow resonating through her core
But she will not lie down, fighting every inch
Slowly, surely, she gains the ascendency
A cloud of silence falls over the lent back souls
Enrapt by the spectacle
An inquisitive wide-eyed child can be heard asking
The beast ceases her guttural growl
She soars, victorious once more
